Citizenship by Descent (Jus Sanguinis)

Claim a second passport through your ancestry — European or Latin American

🇵🇦Panama Jus Sanguinis

Children born abroad to at least one Panamanian parent qualify automatically. Second and third generation descendants can register through the consulate or Civil Registry with proof of lineage (3–6 months). Note: dual nationality is only permitted with reciprocal countries.

Many of our clients combine a Panama residency with a citizenship claim through their ancestry. European countries like Italy, Ireland, Romania, Poland, Hungary, and Croatia offer citizenship by descent — some with no generational limit. Latin American countries including Uruguay, Panama, and Paraguay also recognize jus sanguinis. An EU passport unlocks visa-free travel to 170+ countries; a LATAM passport provides regional mobility and dual citizenship options.
